The Applications Options
This options group controls whether or not Asutype is enabled to work with your applications.
Exceptions
- If you want Asutype to work with most applications except a few, choose
the "Enable all, except..." radio button and put exception applications into the "Exceptions" list.
- If you want Asutype to not work with most applications except a few, choose
the "Disable all, except..." radio button and put exception applications into the "Exceptions" list.
- To put an item into the "Exceptions" list, select the item in the "Applications" list and click
the "Add" button.
- To remove an item from the "Exceptions" list, select the item and click
the "Delete" button.
- Click the "Browse" button to identify an
executable file instead of choosing it from the
"Application" list.
- Click the "Clear" button to clear and recreate the "Applications" list.
Add an application into the "Applications" list
Asutype automatically detects and lists an application in the "Applications" list if there is any keyboard activity in it. If you don't find your application in the "Applications" list, just activate it and type something (for example, use arrow keys to move the caret around or use
the Alt key to pop-up a menu); then switch back to this Options dialog box to find the application's name in the list.
Automatic Startup
- To launch Asutype automatically at startup, check
the "Launch Asutype automatically at startup" checkbox.
